About Jenny Zhang, MD
Jenny Zhang, MD, is a hematopathologist at Phoenix Children's with specialized training in diagnosing conditions and diseases that affect blood cells.
Dr. Zhang earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Maryland in College Park, Maryland, and her medical degree from the University of Queensland Ochsner Clinical School in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia, and in New Orleans. She completed her medical residency in anatomic and clinical pathology at the University of Arizona and Banner University Medical Center in Tucson, Arizona, before training as a fellow in hematopathology at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Virginia.
Dr. Zhang is board certified by the American Board of Pathology in anatomic and clinical pathology. She is a member of the College of American Pathologists and the United States and Canadian Academy of Pathology. She has presented at the annual meetings of the United States and Canadian Academy of Pathology and the College of American Pathologists.
Dr. Zhang spends her free time drawing, writing, reading, crocheting and playing video games.
